The Ice Breakers began as the Flyers in the 2004 summer season at Iorio Arena in Walpole. The season began very slowly, but the team gelled towards the end and finished strong. The name was changed to begin the 2004 Winter season along with the addition of several new players.
The 2004-05 season started slowly while everyone got used to each other. But again, towards the end of the season the team brought it all together going 6-3-1 in the last 10 games and making the playoffs. Once in the playoffs, the IceBreakers marched undefeated into the final round. They lost a heartbreaker in OT in the first game, but again bounced back and pulled out an OT win the claim the Moog Division Championship for 2004-05.
Following a disappointing summer of 2007, the Icebreakers added some key players and completed an awesome turnaround. Compiling the most wins by an Icebreaker team to capture 1st place in the Moog Division.
The journey was completed by allowing only 3 goals thruout the playoffs and capturing the 2007-08 Moog Division Championship!
